Conversation Regarding a Foe

Grandma: "Isn't it wonderful about Georgetown getting into the Final Four?"

Me: "Um... I guess it's cool a Big East team got in, but I'm not particularly thrilled it's Gtown."

Grandma, startled: "Patrick!"

Me: "Grandma, come on, I despise Georgetown. They're way at the bottom of my list next to the Cardinals and the Sux."

Grandma: "Tsk tsk, now Patrick! Your aunt and uncle are Georgetown alums."

Me: "Another reminder that sometimes good people make crap decisions!"

Grandma: "You sound just like your father at your age, only he loved Loyola and DePaul."

Me: "Again, another reminder..."
